Hundred Mile Brewing Privacy Policy

Hundred Mile Brewing Company, LLC ("Hundred Mile Brewing," "HMB," "we," "us") runs the brewery and taproom at 690 N Scottsdale Rd, Tempe, AZ 85288, and the website hundredmilebrewing.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Newsletter: your email address and anything else you enter, such as your name.
- Catering, private event and reservation requests (including parties of 8 or more): name, email, phone, event date, party size, and details you provide.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, résumé, and anything else you include in your email to info@hundredmilebrewing.com.
- Messages to us: anything you send by email, phone, or social media.
- Orders: taproom and catering orders are placed through Toast. Toast collects order and payment details (see section 4). Catering questions can also be sent through the form on this website.
- SMS / text messages (if and when we offer them): your mobile number and the opt-in information you provide (see section 3).
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data: when you visit our website, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. It uses this to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It may use cookies or similar technology. We do not use advertising or tracking pixels, and we do not sell your personal information. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
In person
- Our taproom uses security cameras, and we may check ID to verify age for alcohol service.
2. How we use information
- To send newsletters and promotions you signed up for.
- To respond to and fulfill catering, event, and reservation requests.
- To review job applications and hire.
- To answer your questions.
- To send SMS / text messages you opted into, if and when we offer that service.
- To run, secure, and improve our website and business.
- To comply with the law, including age verification for alcohol.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Email marketing and SMS
We send marketing email only to people who opted in. Our newsletter is collected through Netlify Forms and sent using MailerLite. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. You can also unsubscribe by emailing info@hundredmilebrewing.com. We process opt-outs promptly, within 10 business days. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still send you messages about an order or request you made.
SMS / Text Messages
We do not currently run a text-message program. If and when we start one, the following will apply:
- We will send marketing or informational texts only to people who have given us express written consent (for example, by checking an opt-in box or texting a keyword).
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help.
- We will never sell your mobile number or opt-in data, or share them with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can provide those services:
- Netlify: website hosting and form submissions.
- MailerLite: newsletter delivery.
- Toast: online ordering and payment processing. Toast handles your card details under its own privacy policy, and we do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Google: website analytics (Google Analytics).
- Google Workspace: receiving email, including job applications.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
5. Cookies, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We use Google Analytics cookies to measure site traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not use advertising or tracking pixels, and we do not sell your personal information. Toast and other linked sites may set their own cookies.
Because we don't track you across other websites for advertising, we don't change how we operate in response to Do Not Track signals. If we ever add advertising or tracking tools, we will honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out.
6. Age and children
You must be 21 or older to buy alcohol from us. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. How long we keep information
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only what we need to honor the opt-out.
- Catering, event and reservation records: 3 years.
- Job applications: 2 years if you are not hired, or longer if you are hired.
- Security camera footage: about 30 days, unless it's needed for an incident or legal matter.
- SMS consent records: 4 years (if and when we offer SMS).
- Email messages: as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep business records.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited staff access, but no system is perfectly secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as Arizona law requires (A.R.S. §§ 18-551 and 18-552).
9. Your choices and requests
No matter where you live, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it, or
- delete it.
To make a request, email info@hundredmilebrewing.com or call (480) 256-1623. We may need to verify your identity, and we'll respond within 45 days. We may keep information the law requires us to keep. If your state gives you additional privacy rights, we will honor them as required.
10. Other websites
Our site links to services such as Toast, Untappd, social media, and map providers. Those services have their own privacy policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We'll post updates here and change the "Last updated" date. If we make a significant change, we'll post a notice on our website and/or email subscribers.
